NORTHWEST COLORADO CONSULTANTS, INC. <br />Project: Waste Coal Pile Project No.: 95-2296 <br />Location: Foidel Creek Mine Report No.: 20 <br />Client: Bower Brothers Construction <br />Work Pertorrned: <br />Date: 8/21 /96 <br />Time: 2.5 <br />Mileage: 20 <br />Engr./Tech: JK <br />As requested, we visited the protect site on this date to conduct nuclear density test No.'s 87 through 90 on the <br />material placed. <br />Bower Brothers Construction crews placed processed waste coal along the eastern edge on the north half of the <br />pile. We obtained moisture samples and returned them to our laboratory. <br />Remarks: <br />The material tested generally met with project specifications for compaction with the exception of materials placed <br />in the vicinity of test No.'s 89 and 90. <br />Please refer to the attached sheet for results of today's testing. <br />Verbal Discussions: <br />Bud Bower of Bower Brothers Construction was notified of today's test results and advised to scarify and <br />recompact the failing areas prior to placing any additional fll materials in [his area. <br />
