COLORAD081302 <br />September 23, 1991 <br />TO: National King Coal, Inc. <br />SUBJECT: Quarterly Inspection, Huntington Ditch, Third Quarter <br />1991 <br />1) The Huntington Ditch was inspected twice during the third <br />quarter of 1991. <br />2) The ditch is in good condition and has generally been kept <br />clear of plant growth. Sediment has recently been excavated and <br />stacked to increase embankment height. Particular attention was <br />given to inspection of the realigned area over Mining Section 1 <br />North. <br />3) No evidence of leakage or damage due to the effects of under- <br />ground mining was observed. <br />4) The purpose of the inspections was to insure protection of <br />the Huntington Ditch and the King Coal Mine as well as to meet <br />requirements established by the Colorado Mined Land Reclamation <br />Division for quarterly inspection of the Huntington Ditch. <br />~ ed M.
