Banks and Gesso, LLC <br />' Similarly, the disturbed areas around the settling ponds at the southern end of <br /> the property will be re~~graded inward, to capture storm-water runoff. These <br /> ponds will be maintained below existing grade. Since there is a net loss of <br /> process water to evaporation and product moisture, no discharge of process <br /> water is anticipated. <br />' <br /> The Applicant will stone diesel fuel on-site, utilizing double lined storage facilities <br /> or contained storage areas. A Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures <br /> Plan will be established and implemented for the site. The maintenance building <br /> for trucks and other equipment will have concrete floors, and provide locked <br /> storage for cleaning solvents, hydraulic fluids, and other materials. The additives <br />I for concrete production will be stored in similar locked and lined areas at the <br /> concrete batch plant. Spillage of these chemicals would flow into the recovery <br /> system. <br /> 5.8 Schedule of Operation <br />1 The hours of operation are as follows: <br />' Aggregate Mining and Processing <br />Gam -~ 10pm, Monday -Saturday <br />Ready-Mix Concrete Operation <br />Gam - 10pm, Monday -Saturday <br />Maintenance and Repair <br />Gam - 10pm, Monday -Saturday <br />~I <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /><J <br />It is anticipated that operations at the site (mining and concrete mixing) will occur <br />approximately 250 days per year. The total life of the project up to the creation of <br />the final reservoir is expected to be 12 to 15 years. <br />5.9 Landscaping, fencing, and Screening <br />The location of areas to be landscaped, screening berms and fences are shown <br />on the Site Plan Map. <br />6.0 Water and Sewer Service <br />The property is within the South Adams Water and Sanitation District and a tap <br />from that district is associated with the property. There are currently two septic <br />systems on the property, one serves the residence and the other serves the <br />scale house. <br />Potable water for the operation will be supplied by the South Adams tap. Sewer <br />service will be supplied by the two septic systems, upgraded as may be required <br />and approved by the Tri-County Health Department.
