Mr. James Rubin
Page 2
3) . Area of stockpiles
The stockpiles range in Size O'ware
enty-five to thirty-five
feet high. Approximately 12 included in areas used
for stockpiles.
4) . Specifications for proposed asphalt hot plant and concrete
batch plant.
Enclosed is a brochure from Asphalt Drum Mixers, Inc. This is
the plant that would be ue". if allowed. It should be pointed
out that the Nottinghams wol" like the flexibility to use some
other plant. For example, thOt would like to be able to allow
some major contractor such as Corn Construction to use their
own hot plant. Any hot plant brought in would most likely have
been operating within the state and would therefore have State
and Federal approval.
Nottinghams will furnish information on the batch plant if
available.
5) . Material in stockpiles, material remaining to be mined.
This information will be furnished by the Nottinghams.
I wish to make one revision to the 1984 Mining Plan. The
Nottinghams anticipate it will take approximately one year to
use the sand stockpile after the concrete batch plant is in
operation. We request that this stockpile be allowed to remain
until one year after the concrete batch plant has been placed
in operation.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to resolve these concerns
prior to the Planning Commission meeting.
Sincerely,
David
To des, P.E.
DWG:dd
Enclosure
