The DMG notes that temperature data was not provided for the
upper french drain. Enclosed is revised page 5 with available
temperature data appended.
2. The DMG asks for consecutively numbered report pages.
Numbered report pagea are enclosed.
3. The DMG requests that the section on consumptive use be
expanded and clarified. Enclosed are the revised pages 7 and
8.
4. The DMG asks for a discussion on the source of imported water
and a description of consumptive uses. Enclosed are revised
pagea 7 and 8.
5. Bear indicates in its assessment of hydrologic impacts that
there are no water resources in the projected 1996 mining
area. The DMG notes there is an ephemeral stream in the
southwest quarter of Section 16 that drains to the north and
there may also be shallow groundwater in the vicinity. Bear
stands by its original assessment. No permanent or continuous aquifers will be impacted
by the mining operation."
