One thousand three hundred fifty <br /> two (1352) cubic yards of soil were placed to an average depth of <br /> one foot in August and September 1989 . <br /> One hundred eighty (180) acres of timber were cleared in 1989 <br /> to accommodate tailing deposition. No revegetation treatment was <br /> required as a result of this work. An additional 13 acres will be <br /> cleared in 1990 to enable perimeter road construction. <br /> Tailing deposition and water acreage totaling 738 acres at the <br /> end of 1989 did not exceed the 754 acres of disturbance that were <br /> forecast. <br /> AREA 9 . 20 , 21 <br /> Approximately 4000 feet of tailing area interceptor ditch was <br /> constructed in 1989 with an additional 21 ,000 feet scheduled in <br /> 1990. The project is scheduled for completion in 1990 . <br /> Revegetation of the inteceptor canal is scheduled for 1991 <br /> following completion of the pioneer road. <br /> SURETY <br /> The biennial recomputation of the estimated Henderson Mine and <br /> Mill reclamation costs for 1989-1990 was completed in February 1989 <br /> and submitted to the Mined Land Reclamation Division as part of the <br /> 1988 annual report.
