During March, the West Pit water treatment plant operated efficiently discharging a total
of 8,927,100 gallons (27.40 acre-feet) of water to Rito Seco Creek, a total of 855,400
gallons (2.63 acre-feet) of water was transferred from the water treatment plant to the
tailing impoundment, and seepage along Rito Seco Creek remained dry.
