Lyons Quarry, Permit No. M-1977-208;~Wildlife Resource Assessment <br />Report,/ <br />The Division of Minerals and Geology (DMG) received a wildlife resource assessment report from <br />Michael Figgs of LREP on behalf of CEMEX, Inc. for the Lyons Quarry, Permit No. M-1977-208. The <br />mine site is located in north-central Boulder County, Colorado. The report was submitted to the DMG in <br />response to recent water samples taken at the C-Pit that exceed DMG established numeric protection <br />levels for groundwater. <br />The Division forwazded this report to the Division of Wildlife for their review and comment. The report <br />does note Federally endangered and/or threatened species in the surrounding area.
