Box 1430 Palisade, CO 81526 Permit No. C-81-041 (b) Area Disturbed - Cameo Borrow Area No. 1 (CBA 1). This area was permitted in TR-17 as a source of cover material for the Cameo Refuse Disposal Areas Nos. 1 and 2 (CRDA 1 & 2). In May 1994 approximately 6" of topsoil was removed from the surface of the area to be disturbed and placed in temporary stockpiles around the site. A sump was excavated for drainage control on the site for the topsoil removal, the borrow removal and reclamation of the site. Borrow material was hauled from the site during May - July as part of the cover for the first three benches of CRDA 1 and the first two benches of CRDA 2. A second period of borrowing material occurred in August and September to cover the third and part of the fourth bench on CRDA 2. Approximately 33,800 cy of material was removed from the site and 2.7 acres were disturbed. Borrow material was depleted from this area and the topsoil redistributed. Cameo Borrow Area No. 2 (CBA 2). This area was permitted in TR-17 as a source of cover material for CRDA 1 & 2.
