C. E. Johnston
-2-
October 11, 1994
Section II•
Recommendations:
1. The total depth for each piezometer will be provided in future
AHRs.
Observations:
1. The units presented in the AHR for flow measurements in
Hubbard Creek were incorrect. The flow measurements are
converted to cubic feet per second (cfs) not gallons per
minutes. I apologize for this mistake. A flume or weir would
have to be constructed to more accurately measure the flow in
Hubbard Creek. This type of device is typically washed out or
destroyed during spring run-off so it would be a constant
maintenance problem. Considering the fact that the depletion
of the flow in Hubbard Creek is not an issue, the current
method of estimating the flow in Hubbard Creek is considered
acceptable.
Please call if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
'Jim Stov~.E.
Chief Engineer
