Areas seeded in 2002 aze shown on the Seneca ]I 2002 Reclamation Map. <br />SEDIMENTATION POND SURVEYS <br />SCC is required by Permit C-80-005 [o monitor sedimentation ponds for sediment storage capacities. In TR-15, <br />CDMG approved the following frequency schedule [o conduct sediment surveys for the ponds at Seneca II Mine. <br />Sedimentation Pond Frequency Nex[ Scheduled Survey <br /> <br />002 Once Every 5 Years 2007 <br />003 Once Every 5 Yeazs 2007 <br />004 Once Every 2 Years 2004 <br />008 Once Every 2 Years 2004 <br />This schedule provides a sediment yield history and gives advance warning to operations personnel when sediment <br />clean-out work is required. [n accordance with Rule 4.05.6(1 l)(c), SCC visually inspects each pond a minimum of <br />quarterly each year. During these inspections, any drastic change in sedimentation storage or sudden increase in a <br />sediment delta at the inlet [o the pond could be detected which would require mitigation. During 2002 Seneca <br />cleaned pond OOR. <br />Based on the 1993 survey, all sediment ponds have sufficient sediment srorage. Additionally, all ponds have been <br />discharging in compliance with the approved NPDES permit effluem limitations.
