The seep from under the dam has greater influence (raises
readings) on downstream measurements during low flows. There is no report of any groundwater
seeps or surface flows to the Harvey Gap drainage from the mine workings.
Values are variable and low. There is no visual indication of effluents from the mine or the vicinity
of the mine. There was a short period of time over which base line values were obtained. There is an
impact of the seep (not related to mining activities) on downstream values of conductivity. The
Division concurs with the hydrologic impact assessment of no impact.
C-1984-064, AHR 02
C:\W PDOCS\Eastside\alvrvw02.doc
CC: Dan Hernandez (e-mail)
