• 4.3.6 Air Permit Revision <br />In October, 1991 Air Pollution Emission Notices (APENs) and fees were submitted <br />to Colorado Department of Health (CDH), Air Pollution Control Division. The <br />APENs revise and consolidate previous air permits to account for NaTec design <br />changes. For example, diesel generators were deleted, diesel boilers ~eptaced by <br />natural gas boilers, product conveyance dust collectors consolid~ Eder one <br />APEN, production increased from 8 t/h to 16 t/h and deleted ~tive dust <br />APEN by chip sealing access road. CDH review is complete, app gat for this <br />revision is expected early in 1992. <br />4.3.7 Stormwater Discharg_g Application <br />In December, 1991 an application was submitted to Colorado Department of <br />Health, Water Quality Control Division. As a result of new EPA regulations, NaTec <br />was required to make application for determination if a Stormwater Discharge <br />Permit is required. This application is pending CDH action. <br />4.3.8 Ground Water Discharge Regulations Exemption <br />NaTec filed in November, 1991 a motion to the Colorado State Water Engineer's <br />office to modify proposed rules regarding discharges to groundwater. NaTec is <br />asking the State Water Engineer (SWE) to modify proposed Rules to reflect that <br />operations subject to an Underground Injection Control Permit are excluded from <br />the Rules. This action is pending SWE action. <br /> <br />33 <br />
