Analysis reports were submitted to DMG upon receipt from the analytical lab. <br />During the third quarter sampling at monitor well M-11 R (July 08, 1998), an exceedance of the <br />permitted total dissolved solid (TDS) value was detected. Verification sampling was conducted <br />on 8/10!98, 8/20/98 and 8/27/98 in accordance with the Division. Each of the verification sample <br />results exceeded the permitted TDS value. In accordance with TR-15, a response plan was <br />prepared and submitted to the Division on September 24, 1998 addressing investigative and <br />response actions proposed with monitor well M-1 i R, Voluntary initiation of additional <br />groundwater monitoring proposed in the response plan was conducted by BMRi, while CDMG <br />continued review and comment on the submitted response plan. Analytical results received from <br />the additional monitoring identified possible alternate constituent sources than those identified in <br />the response plan. In addition BMRI conducted further field investigation of the West Pit area and <br />
