On August 15, 2003 an amendment <br />was approved to this mine permit and the mine is now operating per <br />that amendment. The Financial Warranty for this operation is <br />$71,755.00; the permitted area in Logan County; covers 105.55 ac. f <br />and the pit is not phased. The bond was reevaluated when the permit <br />amendment was approved. As required in Rule 1.6 the MINE PERMIT SIGN is <br />at the entrance to the pit and the boundary has been outlined with <br />posts to delineate the Permit Boundary. <br />The annual report requirements in the MLRB Rules and Regulations, <br />and the annual review letter are addressed in the following report. <br />Please refer to the enclosed ANNUAL REPORT MAP for areas discussed in <br />this report. <br />(1) We continued to mine on the mine face that bisects the permit <br />area from east to west. This year approximately 4.18 acres was <br />_ _ _ _ _ _ stripped an_d partially mined (brown).. The working face_is left <br />as a highwall as allowed in the permit.- This face will continue <br />to be worked to the south this year. The working floor area <br />where material is stockpiled and processes covers approximately <br />15.53 acres (/// hatch pattern). <br />(2) Reclamation was complete on 14.93 acres in the northern part of <br />the site. All sloping, resoiling, shaping and seeding was com- <br />pleted last spring (green).
