- Red Canyon Mine - 1997 AHR Page 5 <br />Conductivity <br />A Cole Parmer pocket-size tester with two different range capabilities. Accuracy: +/- 2% <br />FS. Automatic temperature compensation 0 to 50 °C. Operating temperature: 0 to 50 °C. <br />Range: 0 to 1990 umhos/cm and 2.0 to 19.9 mmhos/cm. Calibration with solution close <br />to the expected value of the water to be tested. <br />Depth to Water <br />A Water Level Indicator (M-Scope) is used to measure depth to water. The cable is <br />marked in 5-foot increments. A tape measure is used to determine accurate distances <br />between marked increments. <br />Temperature <br />A standard mercury thermometer which measures temperature in degrees Celsius or <br />microprocessor based pocket sized temperature tester. <br />Flow <br />~, Upper Ward Creek - A four foot Parshall Flume is located at the sampling site. <br />Lower Ward Creek -The flow is obtained from the local Division 4 Water District. Their <br />data is obtained from a rating station with recorder that is located immediately below the <br />Lower Ward Creek Monitoring station. <br />SP-D & SP-DA - A 12-inch Parshall Flume is located along the ditch near monitoring well <br />A-1. <br />ualil <br />Methods of analysis are consistent with EPA standard testing procedures. <br />Total Suspended Solids - Sample points SP-D & SP-DA are analyzed for total suspended <br />solids. <br />
