Please <br />respond to each item below at your earliest convenience. <br />General Comments <br />The introduction is somewhat confusing. It reads "The surface mine, which was <br />activated between 1974 and 1980, was called Mine No. 3. It was faced-up in a <br />Mine No. 3 highwall." It seems some discussion is missing between these two <br />sentences. Also, the items addressed in the General Comments section from our <br />review of the 1990 AHR for Mine 3 dated August 19, 1991 were not addressed in <br />the 1991 AHR. Overall, the report is well organized and the monitoring plan <br />is clearly indicated in Table 1 and Table 2. <br />Monitoring Frequencv <br />Bedrock Wells <br />Spoil well 008-SP-4a is 85 ft. deep with a <br />45-85 ft. On 5/29/91 a level reading was <br />however, all other readings indicate a dry <br />was the surface pit in this area? What is <br />anomalous reading of 38 ft.?
