The mine water is currenty routed to pond MB-2R. MB-2R is expected to <br />discharge through outfall 004 later this afternoon. MCC is unsure if this effluent will meet <br />permit limits. <br />Pond MB-1 is full, The first MB-1 pre-discharge sample measured 102 mg/I TSS. MCC <br />eolleded a second pre-discharge sample and are awaiting the results. <br />MCC is trying to treat both ponds by dumping alum, and other approved treatment <br />chemicals, at each pond's Inlet. The hydroseeder they usually use for chemical addition has <br />not been available yet this week.
