You have specified that SCC is to "Please provide substantive comments to 2004 Annual Keport Review Items <br />9 and 10 regarding portgrade sampling by August 19, 2005. " These responses were submitted on August 12, 2005. <br />The following discussions present responses to the remaining items of concern due by September 19, 2005. <br />Attached aze two (2) copies of revised and/or additional infoanation addressing your comments and requests. <br />A third copy has been to the Division's Denver office also addressed to you. The Division's new and improved Annual Reclamation Reporting farm was properly included in the 2004 report. However, <br />there are inconsistencies with the cumulative disturbance acreages for various disturbance categories. <br />P/ease check the assumptions used m detivvtg the acreage figures, and amend the form as <br />wamented. The sum of "acreage its ac[ive mining areas'; "cumulative rota! ofacres baclddled and <br />graded'; and "acreage in long-term mining orreclamadon facilities'; must total ro the <br />"Cumulative Total" acres disturbed. "Entire Life ofMirte"nrunber ofacres disturbed should be <br />exactly equal to "Cumulative Total" acres disturbed, since there has been no Phase III bond <br />release at Seneca II-Il? The cumulative acres disturbed should also be consistent with the total <br />disturbance acreage (Mine Area plus Tie Across Haul Road) reported on page 2 of the report. <br />The report form will need to be amended, and the acreages reported on page 2for Mine Area and <br />Tie Across Haul Road wiO also need to be amended ifthose figures are mcormct. <br />Response: The Form and the text have been revised to reflect your concerns. <br />2. The cakndaryear `bores disturbed"category on the report form table indicates 30.8 acres. However, the `7004 Reclamation <br />Map"shows three separate areas of topsoil removal, totaling 31 acre: For conrirtency, these figures should be identical A/so, <br />the 1.0 acre topsoil removal area associated wtth the `A"Pit slope reduction slide remediation was not shaded blue, ar <br />indicated in the map legend and ar war done far the other Zwa topsoil removal anat.
