February 7998 H~G Caal 1997 Annual Rec(mnation Repot ~ Paee 10 <br />• RSP-6 - No flaw observed. <br />In addition to the six spoil springs, HGCC also collected a sample from the seep area which is <br />located along the north side of the reclaimed Topsoil Pile A area. DMG identified the seep and <br />initially requested sampling in 1996. This location has been designated SS-1. <br />• <br />• <br />SS-1 - In May, the flow rate was visually estimated at 2 gpm. Field water-quality parameters <br />indicate chat this seep water is un-impacted by mine activities and probably <br />approximates background conditions. In November, a sample was collected for full- <br />suite analyses.
