Gentlemen:
An acute WET test performed on a sample from Point 005 (collected
on May 16, 1995) has failed. The LC50 for this sample was 47.9+k.
At the time of sampling, Point 005 was flowing at a rate of 3.5 gpm
while the receiving stream (Hubberson Gulch) was flowing at a rate
of 2120 qpm. The cause of the failure is unknown at this time. A
second sample was collected on May 22 as part of the required
accelerated testing.
