Cavity #1 was utilized for production in December of 1995. Additional tons have been <br />• approved for recovery beyond the original 41,000 tons. A revised Mine Plan has been <br />submitted which will increase the tons recovered beyond the previous 41 tons per foot, <br />for all cavities. <br />In 1995, raw water was pumped from the A-Groove supply well 90-1 and utilized for <br />process feed and domestic uses. Of this <br />total, 18,487 tons were produced in 1995. With 32,574 tons remaining of the 82,000 tons <br />permitted, this cavity was shut in during September due to high chloride and plugging. <br />Cavity #4 was put on line in May of 1995 and by the end of the calendar year, production <br />for this cavity totaled 25,428 tons. <br />• 20 <br />
