All total, there <br />are 157.8 acres designated as stockpile and waste disposal areas which are all <br />considered major disturbance. <br />Three acres were reclaimed in area (MM) during this reporting period. Some <br />• contouring was done in areas (L), (MM) and (FF); 370 trees and shrubs were <br />planted as a shelter belt in area (M) in the previous year. The species <br />planted were Ponderosa Pine, Juniper Pine, Pinon Pine, Chokecherry and Wild <br />Plum; they were planted in three rows 1200 feet long. <br />The experimental plot is experiencing excellent growth in its second year in <br />area (G). All other areas are experiencing excellent growth with grazing and <br />haying being done in areas (W), (X), (M) and (N). <br />Plans for reporting period 6-91 to 6-92 include reclamation in areas (L), (D), <br />(MM) and (FF). Waste removal will take place in areas (A), (B), (LL), (SSj <br />and (TT).
