Box 518 <br />Somerset, Colorado 81428 <br />Dear Mr. Springer: <br />The Division has completed its review of Bear Coal Company's subsidence <br />monitoring reports for April, 1985 to November, 1986. The following items <br />were noted by Jim Pendleton, who conducted the review: <br />1. Measurements made during August, 1985 were consistently <br />flawed by approximately 0.75 feet. <br />2. Landslides at the mine site have resulted in movement of <br />monuments U-21 and U-11. <br />3.
