Attached aze two (2) copies of responses to the adequary comments and the updated information. <br />7. On page 3, under Soil Salvage, Storage and Replacement and Seeding and Shrub Planting, Table 00.2 it referenced to contain stockpile <br />• volume information and Seed Mix # f, re pectively. Table 00.2zr not contained in thin rrporl. Alto Table 00.4 it referenced on page 3 <br />and is not contained in this report. Please revue this infornration and provide the correct referenres and tabler. <br />Response. Page 3 has been revised and is attached. <br />Z. Please provide the approximate acreages and locations far rhrnb plantings. <br />Response. The location is referenced on attached page 14 (Table 03.4) and is shown on 2003 Reclamation Map. The <br />approximate acreage has been added to Table 03.4. <br />3. Based an review oftbe 2003 Annual Reclamation Report Weed Spray Map it appears ?hat only the facilities area and locations along <br />roundy road up to the PECOCO impoundment wen rprayed in 2003. This mmment was previously forwarded to SCC in our <br />Midterm Review dated August 77, 2004 and is reiterated here. <br />It is the nsponsiln'dity of the operator to develop and obtain ajrpmval from the Divirian for a noxious weed management plan. An <br />approved plan must be implemented whenever infestations of any of the noxious weedy in Section V. of the DMG paliry memorandum - <br />Man~ement o{Noxious Weeds on Coal Mime Permit Areas occur on the pernrit ana. Weed patches including Houndstongue, <br />Canada Tbirtle, and Hoary cress have been in'entified in many locations of the Seneca ZI Mine permit ana. The Divu'ian it aware that <br />Routt County bar required SCC to develop a detailed weed management plan ar we1L Please update or incorporate this management <br />plan into the existing plan required by the DMG. Please also ensure that noxious weedy are controlled in oll anal of the permit, <br />according so approved weed management plan. <br />Response.
