PHOTO PAGE 7
Photos 13 8 14 Although not directly involving the turning operation, this pair of
images shows the difference in spurge growth on heavily grazed and lightly
grazed land In both images, the primary color of the spurge has been replaced
with a bright magenta to make it more visible. However, some of the bright
magenta also shows up on ripening grass where the color is similar to spurge.
But the substituted color on grass is minor Both photos were taken at the same
time from opposite sides of the Quincy bridge. The first photo looks south into
the heavily grazed land and the second photo looks north into lightly grazed land
In the first photo, notice the difference between the grazed land and the highway
right of way,
~~3~~
~~ty ,'
S~ ~~'
