• during the subsidence process. The damage was confined to the asphalt surface of Routt
County Road 27. TCC promptly affected temporary repairs in a timely fashion in
cooperation and consultation with Routt County road maintenance personnel. TCC will
affect permanent repairs after subsidence associated with the 3 Southwest longwall panel
is complete. The YVEA power line was visually inspected on a periodic basis with no .
impacts evident during the period.
IV. Fish Creek AVF
Survey monument data was generated during the period for the 5000 series initially
established in December, 1994. Hydrologic data collection efforts were completed
during the last half of 1994. No additional hydrology data is submitted with this report.
With the submittal of the second half 1994 information, the Fish Creek AVF Hydrologic
Monitoring program was concluded as undermining of the azea occurred in September
1993 and subsequent monitoring was continued for one yeaz beyond that time in
accordance with permit requirements.
No vegetation data was generated during the period as this aspect of the study was
previously completed. Results aze summarized in the First Half 1994 Subsidence
Report.
• V. Conclusions
Subsidence monument surveys disclosed no unusual developments during the reporting
period. Subsidence magnitudes and projected draw angles were within the anticipated
ranges previously documented for the azea.
Structures remained essentially unaffected during the period with the exception of the
predicted impacts to the County Road. Minor impacts to the road were evident but
overall the road remained in good condition both during and after the subsidence process.
No adverse impacts whatsoever were evident regazding the YVEA the power line. No
material damage to structures was evidenced during the reporting period.
Some cracking of the Twentymile Sandstone outcrop was noted during the report period
in that portion of the outcrop overlying the 2 Southwest longwall panel. Rock falls
associated with the cracking were minimal and consisted primarily of minor sloughing of
the outer surfaces of the exposed rock. No major structural failures or associated massive
rock fall events were evident at the surface.
•
