1999 Annual Reclamation Report -Southfield Mine <br />Page 2 <br />Additional Monitoring_Information <br />In accordance with the approved vegetation monitoring program, EFCI performed interim <br />vegetation sampling on the refuse disposal area. Vegetation sampling was completed on the azeas <br />planted in 1/92 and 11/92, shown on attached Figure 1, Refuse Disposal Area. Results of <br />sampling on both areas indicate that vegetation is generally establishing as predicted in the <br />permit application. <br />Backfilled. The current reclamation process effectively minimizes the total <br />disturbance and promotes establishment of the site to its approved postmining land use <br />capabilities. <br />
