Our files indicate that the anniversary date for this permit is August 3rd. Operation
continued as approved in the original permit. This pit HAS NOT been granted a Temporary
Cessation and it HAS operated more than 180 days this year. The Financial Warranty for
this operation is $49,000; the permitted area is 109.00 ac. ± and the pit is not Phased. A
sign that conforms with rule 6.7 SIGNS AND MARKERS is located at the entrance to the pit.
Please refer to the Annual Report map for the location of areas discussed in this report.
We will deal specifically with each of the Annual Report requirements as outlined in
Rule 1.15 of the Rules and Regulations, and in the annual notice letter.
(1) No new area was disturbed this year. We mined on areas stripped and partially
mined in the last few years. Material was removed from stockpiles this year located
on the Plant Site and the large processing plan was moved. The total disturbance to
date is 84.29 ac. ±; of which 62.16 ac ± is lake area; 6.31 ac. ± is backfilled; 4.93
ac ± is Plants Site; 1.30 ac. ± is topsoil piles; 1.51 ac. ± is stripped ready for
mining and 1.05 ac. ± is road.
(2) No reclamation was required this year. Backfilling is continuing in the north quadrant
of the property. We have a total of 6.31 ac. ± filled to date (tan). The majority of
the area left to be mined will be part of the lake area when mining is complete
(yellow). Only two small area on the north and south sides of the Plant Site will be
bank shore (approx. 35 ft). Above water bank sloping totaling 4,074 feet ±, began
this year on the south side of the mine and along the east bay (/// cross hatch). The
above water sloping and recoiling is completed this year on the areas colored green
