8.0 MARIMUM QUANTITY LICENSEE MAY POSSESS AT ANY ONE TIME <br />8.1 3250 tons at the crusher sorter <br />8.2 15000 tons at the tranfer pad <br />8.3 5 tons in the settling ponds, drying beds, and at the transfer pad <br />9.0 AUTHORIZED USES <br />9.1 The licensee is hereby authorized to crush, wash and sort ore, to <br />store crushed or sorted ore and radioactive residues and waste <br />materials from the Schwartzwalder Mine. <br />9.2 The licensee is authorized to remove radioactive material from mine <br />effluent water and store such residues. <br />10.0 AUTHORIZED PLACE OF USE <br />10.1 Licensed processing activities under 9.1 and 9.2 are to be conducted <br />at and adjacent to the Schwartzwalder Mine in Sec. 25, T2S, R71W, 6th <br />P.M. Crushed or sorted ore may be temporarily stored at the <br />licensee's transfer pad in the N.W. 1/4 Sec. 8, T35, R70W. <br />11.0 R E F E R E N C E D P R O P O S A L S A N D <br />C O M M I T M E N T S <br />11.1 Except as specifically provided otherwise by this license, the <br />licensee shall possess and use radioactive materials described in <br />items 6, and 7 of this license in accordance with the statements, <br />representations, and procedures contained in the following: <br />11.1.1 Amended application dated June 13, 1980 for Colorado <br />Radioactive Materials License. <br />11.1.2 Letter October 16, 1981 Cotter to CDH <br />11.1.3 Letter March 4, 1982 Cotter to GDH including Report Chapter 4 <br />"Geotechnical and Hydrological Study for the Proposed 4iater <br />Treatment System" <br />11.1.4 Regulatory Guide 3.51, "Calculational Models for Estimeiting <br />Radiation Doses to Man from Airborne Radioactive Materials <br />Resulting from Uranium Milling Operation", which includes as <br />Attachment A "Dose Calculational Guidance." <br />11.1.5 Letter March 23, 1982 Cotter to CDH including Report "Flood <br />Plan Analysis and Design Recommendations Schwartzwalder Mine <br />Water Treatment Plant". <br />-2- <br />
