13.2.5 FLOOD PLAIN PROTECTION <br />Along with the plans for a new water treatment plant, the <br />licensee shall submit by November 30, 1982 to the Department <br />final plans for protecting operations in the 100-year flood <br />plain area and plans for containing and collecting contaminated <br />surface run off at the ore crusher-sorter, ore transfer pad and <br />water treatment plant. <br />13.3 PROCESSING REQUIREMENTS <br />13.3.1 PRODUCTION RATE <br />13.3.1.1 Crusher-sorter ore processing shall be at an annual avarage rate <br />of 600 tons per day, with a maximum of 220,000 tons per year. <br />13.3.1.2 Waste water treatment residues which are radioactive shall be <br />generated at the nominal rate of 400 Tons/year. <br />13.3.2 OPERATING PROCEDURES <br />13.3.2.1 Procedures Manual <br />The licensee shall process in accordance with the procedures <br />manual specified in LC 11.1.8 and approved by the Depa:^tment. <br />13.3.2.2 Changes In Operating Procedures <br />13.3.2.2.1 Evaluation of Lmpact <br />The licensee shall prepare a written evaluation of any activity, <br />particularly modifications in operating procedures and <br />equipment, with potential public health and environmental <br />impacts not previously assessed, or significantly greater than <br />previously assessed. If significant adverse impacts could <br />result, the licensee shall submit the written evaluation to the <br />Department for review. <br />13.3.2.2.2 Mitigation of Impact <br />Should an unexpected harmful event occur during operation which <br />has not been identified in references or license condition, the <br />licensee shall provide to the Department an acceptable plan of <br />action to eliminate or effectively control the effects.. <br />-11- <br />
