M-77-098 <br />Sievers Ranch Pit - Garfield County <br />FEDERAL TAX ID# <br />This annual report is being submitted by Western-Mobile <br />Northern, Inc. (WMI) for the land owners. The anniversary date of <br />this permit was June 30, 1995. As the lease holder, we continued <br />to operate the pit this year as approved in the original permit and <br />technical revision of 1993. The annual fees were paid under <br />separate cover from Mr. Larry Green, Esq. an attorney for the land <br />owners. The property was sold to TBE SSTAxs of WALTER M. GLBASON this <br />year and we are in the process of doing a Succession of Operator <br />from Aspen Glen to WMI. This pit HAS NOT been granted a Temporary <br />Cessation and it HAS operated more than 180 days this year. <br />Please refer to the annual report map attached of the location <br />of the areas discussed in the following text. The Financial <br />Warranty for this operation is $116,100 the permitted area is <br />122.95 ac. ± and the pit is divided into 4 Reclamation Phases. A <br />sign that conforms with rule 6.7 Signs end Markers is maintained at <br />the entrance to the pit this year. <br />This information will comply with each of the Annual Report <br />questions as required in Rule 1.15 of the Rules and Regulations and <br />the Annual Notice Letter. <br />(1) Mining continued in Stage A this year and minor changes were <br />made in the layout of the facility. The mine face has contin- <br />ued to advance to the south across the pit width, the area <br />mined this year is colored tan & brown and covers approxi- <br />mately 4.05 ac. ±. At this time there is 27.89 ac ± in Stage <br />A that is partially mined (yellow, tan and brown). There is <br />approximately 11.49 ac ± south of the face stripped ready for <br />mining (orange). The fresh water, wash water and settling <br />ponds remain in Stage A (blue) where they were relocated in <br />1990.
