M-77-098
Sievers Ranch Pit - Garfield County
FEDERAL TAX ID#
This annual report is being submitted by Western-Mobile
Northern, Inc. (WMI) for the land owners. The anniversary date of
this permit was June 30, 1995. As the lease holder, we continued
to operate the pit this year as approved in the original permit and
technical revision of 1993. The annual fees were paid under
separate cover from Mr. Larry Green, Esq. an attorney for the land
owners. The property was sold to TBE SSTAxs of WALTER M. GLBASON this
year and we are in the process of doing a Succession of Operator
from Aspen Glen to WMI. This pit HAS NOT been granted a Temporary
Cessation and it HAS operated more than 180 days this year.
Please refer to the annual report map attached of the location
of the areas discussed in the following text. The Financial
Warranty for this operation is $116,100 the permitted area is
122.95 ac. ± and the pit is divided into 4 Reclamation Phases. A
sign that conforms with rule 6.7 Signs end Markers is maintained at
the entrance to the pit this year.
This information will comply with each of the Annual Report
questions as required in Rule 1.15 of the Rules and Regulations and
the Annual Notice Letter.
(1) Mining continued in Stage A this year and minor changes were
made in the layout of the facility. The mine face has contin-
ued to advance to the south across the pit width, the area
mined this year is colored tan & brown and covers approxi-
mately 4.05 ac. ±. At this time there is 27.89 ac ± in Stage
A that is partially mined (yellow, tan and brown). There is
approximately 11.49 ac ± south of the face stripped ready for
mining (orange). The fresh water, wash water and settling
ponds remain in Stage A (blue) where they were relocated in
1990. Stage P is still being utilized as approved; 8.46 ac.±
^'/ /~ ~
1~W 1[(5
~,J, ~ `
