Mr. Kent Gorham
March 31, 1992
Page 2
included in the AHR docim~ent. The omitted data will be incorporated
into the database and a new data summary will be generated and forwarded
to CMLRD for incorporation/replaoeme~~t in the 1990 AFII2, Volume 2. This
data was included with CMLRD rn,arterly reports and can be found in the
fourth quarter, 1990, submittal.
6. Station SW09, an irrigation ditch, is typically only monitored during
periods of irrigation flow. In 1989, stream gauging equipment was
removed in September as irrigation flow had ceased. SW09 is remote arr3
difficult to aooesss. Again, with changed personnel, it is impossible to
verify whether or not the site was accessible prior to third quarter of
1990. Stream gauging equipment was again removed in September as
irrigation flow ceased and, therefore, only one water quality sample,
representative of the third quarter, was collected.
7. See response No. 1 for site SW07.
8. Data for site SW05, was collected in October of 1990 but not included in
the AHE2 document. The mnitted data will be incorporated into the
database and a new data summary will be generated and forwarded to Q~RD
for incorporation/replacement in the 1990 AHR, Volume 2. The site was
~y
9. Data for site SW12, was collected in October of 1989 but not included in
the AHR document. The omitted data will be incorporated into the
database and a new data summary will be generated and forwarded to CMLRD
for incorporation/replacement in the 1990 AHR, Voltmie 2.
10. Data for site SW10, was collected in July of 1989 but not included in
the AHR docwnent. The omitted data will be incorporated into the
database and a new data summary will be generated and forwarded to CMLRD
for incorporation/replacement in the 1990 AHR, Volume 2. Field
parameters were not collec.~ted in October of 1989.
11. Table 1 in Volume 1 of the 1990 AHR contains erroneous information. A
corrected copy of this table is provided for insertion in the 1990 AHE2
docwnent. Specifically, the following changes should be noted on the
updated version of Table 1.:
o Monitoring frequencies for NPDFS outfalls have been
corrected to accurately reflect required monitoring as
specified in CPCS Permit No. X0033685.
o OVFI~I groundwater monitoring wells 803-608 have been included
in Table 1. Monitoring of these wells is required per
Permit No. C-81-038, Volume 1, Part 2.05, page 116. Data
from these wells was collected as required. Lab analysis of
B07 for December 1990 was conducted but not included in the
AHR. This data will be will be incorporated into the
database and a new data summary will be generated and
forwarded to CMLRD for incorporation/replacement in the 1990
AHR.
