Because of this geological configuration the static <br />rater level depends greatly on reather conditions, rainfall, anor- <br />pack, and etc.. Relating this scenario to practical experience, CEC <br />alrays had more rater infiltration into the coal pits in the spring, <br />after a rioter of heavy anon-pack. Dryland in our area which ras <br />probed for moisture in 1992 had 48• inches of moisture base in 1993 <br />the base reduced to 24", this is lands which gran Winter Wheat, <br />Barley, and etc.. In addition, the small retland area to the rest of <br />Weld County Raad #59 (Mine Access Road), approximately 1/2 mile south <br />of the Keeneaburg Mine's original gate, had to be dug down deeper in <br />order to have surface rater, so the over all dry conditions have <br />
