Trees have also been planted on previous excavations and prospects, particulazly on the
Two Point claim.
Preceding Yeaz, 2005, Reclamation:
All prospects opened during 2005, prospect 003, 004, and 005 were filled, re-contoured,
and reseeded. Trees were planted on these prospects in April of 2006. Approximately
0.09 acre was also reclaimed on Site 2 where operations continued during 2006.
All areas reclaimed during 2005 showed good growth during 2006. The trees planted
during 2006 on these sites were found thriving during field checks in October.
Pronosed 2007 Onerations:
Operations will be in conjunction with operations on Colorado Calumet Company claims
and Glacier Peak Mining claims between eazly May through eazly August. Mechanized
operations will be limited to 10 working days on the Crystaljack claims. We will use a
John Deere 992 and/or 690 track hoe on the Two Point Mine at Site 7 and possibly Site 6.
Depending on minerals recovered, a small azea may remain open on Site 7 at close of the
season. Site 6 will be opened depending on available time.
Site visits, including mineral extraction, reclamation, and claim maintenance will be
continued throughout the season.
Proposed 2007 Disturbances:
Proposed operations for 2007 will be limited to Sites 6 and 7 on the Two Point mine.
Site 7 will be the primary site. We will complete about four test digs within the dig site.
If mineralization is encountered, a lazger excavation will be opened to about 0.25 acre. A
small portion of this site may remain open at the end of the season and carried over to
2008, depending on minerals found. The dig at this site should be completed by summer
of 2008 and final reclamation should be completed by the close of 2008. If an area
remains open on Site 7, it will be partially filled, made safe for winter and temporarily
reseeded to stabilize the ground. Time permitting, a test pit may be opened at Site 6.
Total disturbance on Crystaljack claims will be about 0.33 acre.
Pronosed 2007 Reclamation:
Approximately half of the area disturbed on the Two Point claim during 2007 will be
reclaimed. Operations will resume here in 2008 at the same site.
Approximately 85 mixed ponderosa pine and Douglas fir will be planted on the reclaimed
test pits and Sites 1, 2 and 14 on Qui-Buc No. 1 that were reclaimed during 2005 and
2006.
