MINED LAND RECLAMATION BOARD 110(2) ANNUAL REPORT <br />For Season 2006 <br />CRYSTALJACK MINING <br />PERMIT NO. M-1993-030 <br />Prepared: 17 Apri12007 <br />Submitted: 10 June 2007 <br />Summary: <br />Mechanized equipment was operated on the Crystaljack mining properties from 7 July <br />through 17 July to recover amazonite, smoky quartz, fluorite, goethite, and other crystals. <br />Work continued on Site 14 and resumed at Site 5 on the Qui-Buc No. 1 claim. Two <br />prospects were also opened and closed. A small azea at Site 5 remained open at season <br />close. All other sites were refilled, re-contoured and reseeded. <br />Chris Rowe of the Division of Reclamation, Mining, and Safety conducted an inspection <br />of sites on the Two Point claim in May. The U.S.F.S. also conducted inspections. An <br />environmental assessment covering these claims was approved by the U.S.F.S. in June. <br />Map Depicting_Operations: <br />Attached aze maps showing the ten claims covered under this permit, permit M-1993- <br />030. The maps show past excavations which have been reclaimed (green), currently open <br />dig sites (shaded orange) and proposed dig sites (either a blue button or a rectangle). <br />Current Disturbances (20061: <br />Two excavation sites, Site 14 and Site 5 on Qui-Buc No. 1 were worked during 2006. <br />Site 14 was opened to approximately 0.05 acre and then refilled and reclaimed. Site 5 <br />was opened approximately 0.04 acre additional to the current disturbance. This site <br />remains open for future operations. Two test pits were opened, 016 and 017 for a total of <br />0.08 acre. Both were filled, reclaimed and reseeded. <br />All of Site 1 and 2 were reclaimed during 2006, re-contoured and reseeded. <br />Reclamation Accomplished to Date: <br />Since this project began in 1993, approximately 2.83 acres have been excavated and <br />reclaimed. These areas have been reseeded and planted with trees. Of this, only 0.45 <br />acre that was reclaimed during 2006 has less than 80 percent growth. The remaining <br />reclaimed acreage has over 80 percent growth. <br />A small test pit at Site 5 of about 1,600 squaze feet on Qui-Buc No. 1 remains open for <br />future operations. All other disturbances have been reclaimed. <br />
