Vu GPS point could be taken, tx~cause the signals were text weak to attempt a Icxauon. <br />The overburden depth to the B-Seam is about 57S feet. <br />Raven Gulch locally widens from about 2S0 feet near Lncation I to about 1,000 1'cet between <br />rations I and 2. The alluvium and rolluvium, which is mixed together in places and srparated <br />in others, is estimated to range Irom about SO feet to at least ~iU fact thick. As many as three <br />separate alluvia! terraces were also observed bet+vecn l.txations I and 2. <br />The alluvium and atlluvium appear similar to that uhsen•ed in Ihep Creek, execpt that thcrc arc <br />some+ahat less clays and silts from the Wasatch Formation here than farther southward. <br />Irregular, branching, and converging desiccation marks, !-', to'+ inches wtde, were observed in <br />clay and silt areas on the u~ul between rations I and 2.
