' NC&C - 1989 HYDROLOGY REPORT
' 2.0 HYDROLOGIC MONITORING
2.1 Data Collection
' Field and laboratory data were collected during the fall and winter
quarters of 1989-90 s eason from the following monitoring sites: OW-
' 3L, 4L, 7, 8, 12, 13, and 14, as per the June 13, 1988 NCEC
Technical Revision. Field and laboratory data were collected
' during the fall qua rter (annual sampling frequency), and field
parameters collected during the winter quarter (quarterly sampling
' frequency).
Since the tunnels have remained sealed since 1986 and there has not
been any activity on the site during 1989, NCEC has remained on the
quarterly field parameters, annual lab analysis schedule through
' 1989. This schedule will be maintained until activity resumes at
the site.
' 2.2 Discussion of the Data
Data collected during the fall and winter quarters is consistent
with previously collected data for those monitoring sites listed
above. As previously recorded, wells OW-3L, 7, 12, and 13 remain
' dry. In addition, well OW-4 L, which has provided a considerably
long data record, was destroyed sometime prior to the fall sampling
' period. This will be discussed in more detail in Section 2.3.
' Hydrographs for OW-4L (period of record), 8, and 19 are included.
Water levels measured during the fall and winter quarters are
consistent with previous trends noted on the hydrographs.
