were applied. Careful soil sampling will be performed prior
to seeding this next year.
Rule 2.41(6): Because no reclamation as such was perfomed
there is nothing to appraise except the small amount done in
various stages. With regard to those areas, everything
looks quite good with few problems and those are rather
easily solved.
Rule 2.41(7): The areas to be affected in the coming year
will be very nearly the same as those affected during the
last year. The pit cycle will probably enter Cycle Step 1
(movement of the processing plant) and Cycle Step 2 (perimeter
mining).
In reclamation, the berm will hopefully be ready to
seed in April, 1982, as well as some bench areas. Some
additional bench areas may also be ready for seeding by
April, 1982, but more likely they will simply be graded and
allowed to settle until April, 1983.
General Appraisal of Permit Compliance - In the opinion of
Castle Concrete Company, the Snyder Quarry operation is in
general compliance with the permit. The mining and bench
reclamation seem to be somewhat ahead of schedule, but the
berm is somewhat behind schedule.
Rule 2.42: The annual report fee of Three Hundred Fifty ($350.00)
Dollars is tendered herewith.
Page 4 of 4 (CAS 81/7)
