• April 13, 1991
Page 6
are presented on Tables 109 and 110. Plots of the flow rate and
conductivity data are presented on Fiqures 28 through 31. A
summary of the flow rate data for the four surface water stations
are presented on Tables 52 through 55. Summaries of the of the
water quality data are presented on Tables 56 through 67.
The data indicates that the flow rates and water quality are
directly related to runoff and evaporation. Half of the ponds and
springs had no measurable discharge in 1989 and 1990. In addition
the discharge measured in Roatcap Creek was very low. The stream
stations showed typical seasonal variability: the flow rate
decreased and the conductivity increased each summer. Also, for
• those sites with ponds that were not discharging the field
conductivity increased during the summer as the pond evaporated.
No impacts from mining were observed.
