• April 13, 1991 <br />Page 4 <br />Table 16. Summaries of the of the water quality data are presented <br />on Tables 17 through 42. The data indicates that the flow rates <br />and water quality are directly related to runoff and evaporation. <br />Half of the ponds and springs had no measurable discharge in 1989 <br />and 1990. In addition the discharge measured in Steven's Gulch was <br />very low. The stream stations showed typical seasonal variability: <br />the flow rate decreased and the conductivity increased each summer. <br />Also, for those sites with ponds that were not discharging the <br />field conductivity increased during the summer as the pond <br />evaporated. No impacts from mining were observed. <br />• <br />• <br />
