The following Inventory and Evaluation Report provided
by Ed Nielson, Jr., Soil Conservation Service, U.S.
Department of Agriculture has been an invaluable aid
in creating this Reclamation Plan. Information provided
has been extremely useful and helpful. And, recommendations
contained in the report have been wholly incorporated into
the Plan.
As considerable specific technical information concerning
types and depths of the various soils has been included
in the Soil Conservation Service report that follows,
repetition of that data here will be avoided. It is
• apparent from this data, however, that surface soils
in the forms of loamy sands and fine sandy loamy, to
silt loamy and clay loams exist in quantities sufficient
for reclamation efforts.
Range studies and additional appropriate recommendations
will be solicited prior to and during the course of our
efforts to revegetate the pit site.
