xii <br />MANAGEMENT SIIM~VIARY <br />• <br />• <br />During the summer of 1989, a pedestrian cultural resource survey was undertaken on <br />approximately 1000 acres in Dowe Flats (Study Area) east of Lyons, Boulder County, <br />Colorado. This investigation was undertaken to determine what American Indian sites <br />are within or peripheral to the Study Area generally defined by the 5400 feet contour <br />interval. During the course of the survey one archaeological site and twenty five <br />isolated finds were recorded.
