The west section marked in "red" <br />is mined out. The berm & fence line to the north of the mined out area has been <br />seeded with wild grasses & tall wheat grass. The floor of the mined out area can <br />be seeded if the landowner & Division of Minerals agree that it should be. The <br />floor area a~s solid gravel and will not support vegetation. The landowner has <br />indicated to us that he would rather leave it as a gravel base. <br />There hasn't been any gravel removed from the Benton Dawson Pit for this annual <br />report. Future gravel removal will be used on our ranch roads. We do not intend <br />to sell gravel from this pit. <br />If you have any questions, please contact us.
