Mining is expected to <br />advance to a point beyond SWGS-02 during the 1993 water year. <br />Another flume will be installed on Cottonwood Creek near the <br />permit boundary during 1993. <br />At the refuse piles, piezometer O1 on the CRDA No. 1 Pile was the <br />only one of concern to the stability of the pile. Piezometers <br />OlA and 02 showed low water levels which would indicate a <br />localized high water level at O1. Water levels at CRDA No. 2 <br />showed no indication of stability problems. Consumptive water <br />use was up slightly during the year primarily due to an increase <br />in coal production. Consumptive water use is expected to <br />continue at similar levels relative to production. <br />u <br /> <br />
