The Financial Warranty for this operation is $167,500, and the permitted area is 689.01 ac. ± and the pit is divided into 19 Reclamation Phases. Stages 1 thru 6 cover an alluvial deposit of sand 6 gravel that runs along the river, and Stages A thru H (8) are on a terrace deposit above the river. Stages V thru Z (5) are part of the Plant Site or areas mined before the law and are currently being backfilled as part of the reclamation plan. An amendment to the permit was approved on October 27, 1999 and the maps attached are based on the maps that are part of the existing permit. As required in Rule 6.7 the mine permit sign has been in- stalled at the entrance to the pit and the boundary has been out- lined with red toped posts to delineate the affected lands. Please refer to the attached maps for location of the areas discussed in this report. These maps do not show the entire permit area, only the area south of the river affected by the operation at this time. Map 1 of 2 shows the west area where only reclamation is taking place. Map 2 of 2 shows the eastern part of the mine where mining is taking place. We will deal specifically with each of the Annual Report requirements as outlined in Rule 1,15 of the Rules and Regulations. (1) Mining continued in Stage 2, and moved in to Stage E as ap- proved in our plan. We completed mining on 1.81 acres ± in and 0.61 ac. ± in Stage D as shown on the Annual Report Map (///). The Plant Site in Stages W, Z and 2 is still in use (lite green). We have 1.62 acres in Stage 2 and 1.64 in Stage E stripped, ready for mining (purple).
