Colorado 80203 <br />Dear Susan: <br />Please find enclosed a signed copy of the <br />agreement between West Elk Coal Company and Bear <br />Coal Company to mitigate subsidence in overlapping <br />and adjacent permit areas. <br />Attachment A is a map with a line on it dividing <br />the areas of responsibility. The area where <br />direct overlap occurs in Section 20, T13S, R90W, <br />6th P.M., which is 300 feet wide north and south, <br />was divided in half with West Elk Coal Company <br />responsible for the area south of the dividing <br />line and Bear Coal Company responsible for the <br />area north of the dividing line.
