Division of Minerals and Geology
February 14, 1997
Page 2
Exploration and development core-drill hole sites and selected access roads have been reclaimed. These
sites were permitted either as Notices of Intent (NOI) or usually as either minor or technical revisions if the
sites were within the permitted area. Final reclamation reports for each of these permit actions have
already been submitted.
Stroud Oil Company owns the methane gas rights within the Golden Eagle permit area. The have
purchased the rights to those former mining facilities that can be converted into production wells. These
include the methane degas wells, mine shafts, service drops, and access roads to these sites. These sites are
in the process of being permitted and bonded with the Oil and Gas Conservation Commission (OGCC).
This action will be addressed by Basin in a Technical Revision to the permit when the permitting and
bonding with OGCC is complete.
Reclamation maps, topsoil distribution map, and post-mining contours and cross-sections, will be
submitted under separate cover, and as a technical revision to the permit.
Please call me if you have any questions or require additional information.
Sincerely,
-~'~w
Ronald G.
