1 SECTION 01505 <br />' MOBILIZATION AND DBMOBII.IZATION <br />' PART1 GENERAL <br />1.1 DESCRIPTION <br />A. This specification section covers the requirements for mobilization, preparatory work, <br />and temporary facilities, and demobilization after the work. <br />' 1.2 SUBMITTALS <br />' A. Within 5 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed, submit a plan identifying <br /> Subcontractor's requirements for preparatory work, for temporary structures and <br /> storage of materials to the RESIDENT PROJECT REPRESENTATIVE. Submit <br /> proposed plan and layout for all temporary site access, temporary offices, sanitary <br /> facilities, storage buildings, storage yards, temporary water service and distribution, <br /> temporary power service and distribution, temporary fuel storage with appropriate spill <br />' containment, and temporary drainage and erosion control facilities, as required to the <br /> RESIDENT PROJECT REPRESENTATIVE. <br /> 1.3 MEASUREMENT AND PAYMENT <br /> A. There shall be no measurement for payment for mobilization and preparatory work. <br /> B. Payment shall be made at the lump sum price bid in the Schedule and shall include all <br /> mobilization, preparatory work, temporary facilities, site access, water, dust and <br /> erosion control and demobilization and site cleanup. Fifty percent will be paid at the <br /> completion of mobilization, and 50 percent will be paid following demobilization and <br /> site cleanup. <br /> PART 2 PRODUCTS AND EQUIPMENT <br /> 2.1 Utilize products and equipment that are considered adequate to perform the work. <br /> <br /> PART 3 EXECUTION <br /> <br /> 3.1 MOBII.IZATION <br />' A. Following the Notice to Proceed, Subcontractor shall mobilize and move onto the site <br />all such equipment as may be necessary for performing the work. <br />6-1 <br />
