<br />"reasonable," "suitable," "acceptable," "proper," or "satisfactory," or adjectives of like effect <br />or import are used to describe requirement, direction, review, or judgment of CONTRACTOR, <br />it is intended that such requirement, direction, review, or judgment will be solely to evaluate the <br />goods and services for compliance with the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS (unless there is a <br />specific statement indicating otherwise). The use of any such term or adjective never indicates <br />that CONTRACTOR shall have authority to supervise or drrect any of SUBCONTRACTOR'S <br />operations or activities. <br />GC-6.0 NOTICE TO PROCEED <br />SUBCONTRACTOR shall not commence WORK until written Notice to Procced is issued by <br />I CONTRACTOR. Following said issue, SUBCONTRACTOR shall commence WORK within <br />5 calendar days. Time is of the essence in the performance of this CONTRACT. <br />GC-7.0 SUBCONTRACTOR'S RFSPONSIBILITY <br />SUBCONTRACTOR shall have complete responsibility for performance of the WORK in <br />accordance with the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. This responsibility includes providing all <br />items and services necessary to perform and/or complete the WORK even though not specifically <br />mentioned in the CONTRACT but which are necessary to accomplish the WORK. <br />GC-8.0 COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS AND REGULATIONS <br />' SUBCONTRACTOR and its employees shall at all times observe and comply with all applicable <br />laws, regulations, and codes of the United States and of any state or political subdivision having <br />jurisdiction of the place where any WORK hereunder is accomplished. All costs of this <br />compliance shall be borne by the SUBCONTRACTOR without additional compensation. <br />' GC-9.0 SEPARATE CONTRACTS <br />SUBCONTRACTOR may be one of several working at the site and shall cooperate fully, plan <br />and perform the WORK hereunder in a manner that will not interfere with the operations of <br />other contractors, second tier subcontractors, COMPANY, or those of CONTRACTOR. <br />CONTRACTOR will establish priorities and resolve interferences. No extra compensation will <br />be allowed due to interference between CONTRACTORs. <br />GC-10.0 SUBCONTRACTS. ASSIGNMENTS AND LIENS <br />1 SUBCONTRACTOR shall not subcontract or assign any part of the WORK without <br />CONTRACTOR'S prior written approval. SUBCONTRACTOR shall promptly pay its bills and <br />' employees wages and shall not permit a lien or claim to be attached to the WORK or SITE. <br />Should any claim or suit for collection be brought by SUBCONTRACTOR'S employees, <br />SUBCONTRACTORS, or suppliers, SUBCONTRACTOR shall promptly procure a release of <br />' the claim or lien and hold CONTRACTOR and COMPANY harmless from all costs and <br />incidental expenses. At CONTRACTOR'S option, CONTRACTOR shall have the right to <br />discharge such liens and assess all costs against SUBCONTRACTOR to the fullest extent <br />provided by law. SUBCONTRACTOR hereby waives and releases all liens or rights to any and <br />' 3-4 <br />
